Stronger Together with Adcrete

Based at Lisburn Enterprise Centre, Adcrete Ltd is an enterprising new company, formed in early 2016 and primarily focused on serving the ready-mix and precast concrete production markets.

Specialties include admixtures, fibres, concrete repair, highway barriers, micro silica, waterproof concrete and quick-drying screeds.

Adcrete Directors Gus Vaughan, Pat Ellison and Jonathan Mooney have a wealth of experience in both concrete production and testing in the Northern Irish markets and have already started to make their mark with the appointment of Adcrete as the official distributor of Oscrete Construction Products in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Adcrete is now also the official distributors of Guard Industries products throughout Northern Ireland, which include a vast range of concrete protection products along with biodegradable concrete remover and degreaser for trucks and plant.

“We envisage an exciting future in partnering Oscrete in this venture,” said Gus. “We pride ourselves in having a reputation for providing innovation, experience and first-class partnering to the precast concrete, ready-mix and ready-to-use mortar industries.

“Our product quality excellence is supported by a highly trained and diversely balanced technical support staff, enabling our customers to continually develop their products and add value to their business.”

High-performance super-plasticising admixtures, waterproofing agents and efflorescence controllers form the mainstay of Adcrete’s ever-developing product range.

“The revolutionary concrete repair and cosmetic product range for the precast industry is our most exciting new facet in product development,” said Pat. “Adcrete enjoys a reputation for trailblazing and we have already tailored repair materials to exactly match the grade and shade specified by our clients.”

FORWARD LOOKING
As a cutting-edge company in the admixture industry, Adcrete prides itself with spearheading the introduction of chopped glass fibres for concrete and screed to the Irish market.

The company also distributes conventional polypropylene micro and macro fibres, as well as supplying micro-silica in Ireland. This is available bagged and bulk, in both powder and slurry form to meet exacting needs.

In support of the admixture business, Adcrete has formed a partnership with leading UK manufacturer of plastic construction elements, Oakland Plastic Limited.

“We provide mortar tubs and liners in a range of colours, with the option of customer branding,” explained Jonathan. “We also have an extensive range of highway and pedestrian barriers, and are looking forward to further developing our full service company with more high-calibre materials.

“We are very excited about Adcrete and its future, and look forward to provide these quality products and services throughout Ireland. Our motto is simple – people and products are ‘stronger together’ with Adcrete!”

OSCRETE APPOINTMENT
Business for Adcrete got off to a flying start with its appointment by Oscrete Construction Products, part of the international Christeyns Group, as its distribution partner for Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Oscrete manufactures a comprehensive range of concrete admixtures for the precast and readymix markets and already has a large market share in the UK mainland. This new partnership is enabling Oscrete to reach the Northern Irish and Irish concrete markets and also enabling it to offer local technical and commercial support to its existing and new customer base.

Adcrete will hold stock of the Oscrete admixtures and other ancillary products (such as the Renocem repair compounds and Owens Corning glass reinforcing fibres) in Belfast.
