Ultraflo® is Ireland’s only ready mixed hemihydrate liquid floor screed and is the perfect partner when installing under floor heating. It is an innovative product, tried and tested over the last 10 years, with over 5,000 satisfied customers throughout Ireland.
As a hemihydrate calcium sulphate liquid floor screed, Ultraflo® does not suffer from surface laitance (a scum/dust of material adhering to the top of the screed during the curing process). It therefore, unlike cement screeds on the market, requires no buffing/grinding to the surface prior to the application of floor finishes. Furthermore, there is only a 0.02% shrinkage, the lowest of any screed on the market, therefore movement joints are only required at 300m2 intervals compared to cement screeds with joints every 80m2, and traditional sand cement screeds with joints every 36m2.
An independent study carried out by the University of Ulster showed Ultraflo® as the most energy efficient screed on the market, with a heat response time four times faster than cement screeds. Scientific proof, if you needed any more convincing, that Ultraflo® is by far the superior product!
Award-winning Exposa® is a highly durable range of decorative concrete which can be used as an alternative to traditional paving, asphalt, tarmac and loose gravel. With a natural aggregate finish, Exposa® has the durability and structural integrity of concrete. It is designed to withstand heavy traffic and extremes of weather without shrinking or heaving. With the added benefit of a slip resistant, low maintenance finish, Exposa® also inhibits the proliferation of weeds and moss and is ideal for use on patios, pathways, driveways, steps and large pedestrian areas.
RTU offers a standard range of exposed aggregate concrete, but the company can also tailor the depth of exposure, aggregate choice as well as colour to your individual requirements. Various styles of Exposa® can be used in one project, or combined with other materials such as cobble or paving stones to create a stunning effect.
