Located in Dugannon town centre, The Junction is owned by community rights-based organisation, STEP, and is a modern, innovative shared community development project.
Delighted to be able to contribute to the development of a local community building such as The Junction, the Dungannon branch of Murdock Builder’s Merchants supplied general building materials to main contractor, QMAC Construction, on the job.
“We supplied a wide range of products at key stages of the project, from exterior groundworks and drainage, to pipework and landscaping products,” said Max Wilson from the Dungannon Sales Office. “QMAC is a valued customer and so this was a major contract for us, and indeed a major development for the area. We were delighted to be able to offer same day service to the project due to its proximity to our branch.
“A number of customers in the branch have made reference to the fantastic work QMAC has done to deliver this project,” added Max.
Sales Manager, Darren McConville spoke about how ensuring stock levels were appropriate was a key factor in the year-long contract. “We ensured that the correct product range and quantities were stocked in our yard to facilitate same day delivery or collection for QMAC. In addition to this, the contractor was able to easily source additional products at short notice if needed,” said Darren.
