The future of manhole construction

The only one of its kind in Northern Ireland, the new Perfect Base system from Tracey Concrete is a state-of-the-art manhole base system which gives the contractor onsite the option of any angle and any number of inlets for their manhole base.

Providing a fully bespoke ordering service to suit the project, the Perfect Base system is regarded throughout the UK and Europe as the market leader in terms of both quality and technical performance.

Installation of the system is quick and safe – simply lift the base into position, connect the pipes and add the rings and cover slab. This eliminates the need for valuable time onsite spent cutting openings in manhole rings and benching in-situ concrete.

Tracey Concrete manufactures a Perfect Base to suit any pipe type specified, so there is no issue with adapter connections and unsealed manholes. The bases are CE Marked, BSI Kitemarked to BS EN 1917:2002 and BS 5911-3 and have been accepted for use by all major UK water authorities.

The launch of Perfect Base adds to the company’s expertise. Tracey Concrete has been specialising in water management systems for the past 25 years and has a wide range of precast products.

“We have supplied drainage products to many major projects in Northern Ireland over the last number of years, such as the Titanic Signature Project and, more recently, the A8 Belfast to Larne upgrade,” said Anton Tracey, Tracey Concrete. “Our aim is to develop the most innovative products in the precast industry to help provide economical and environment friendly solutions to the construction market.”
