CEF and Woodvale boost mental health charity funds

Incredible amount raised for Action Mental Health NI...

CEF nominated Action Mental Health NI as its chosen charity for the year and members responded enthusiastically by raising an incredible £3,000. Woodvale Construction joined in with the initiative and raised an additional £2,500 for this vital charity. Head of Fundraising & Communications at Action Mental Health, Jonathan Smyth said, “We are absolutely thrilled to receive these generous donations from CEF and Woodvale Construction and would like to pass on our heartfelt thanks to everyone in the sector who supported the fundraising efforts. “Even before the pandemic, we know that within the construction industry there were very specific issues relating to mental illness and suicide, so we are especially pleased to see CEF raise the issue of mental health in the workplace so prominently at their annual awards.”

Action Mental Health provides a range of vital mental health services across Northern Ireland, for people of all ages, said Jonathan, “We couldn’t do what we do without the support of the local community in Northern Ireland and rely heavily on fundraising and donations to support our services, so we sincerely appreciate these donations from CEF and
Woodvale.”
