Offering a training and consultancy service, JMD Training was established by Jim and Maire Donnelly in their front room. Since then, the company has flourished and is now based at a 7,500sqft training centre on Boucher Crescent and boasts clients working in a wide range of sectors across Northern Ireland, including the construction and manufacturing industries.
Key to the company’s success is the tailored approach that it offers.
“We believe in delivering quality training at affordable prices and making sure that the courses are enjoyable,” said Jim. “Training can be viewed as boring, so we try to engage attendees and keep it interesting, relevant and interactive.”
In order to do this, JMD Training can conduct a training needs analysis to help companies and individuals find the right course for them. These courses can then be delivered either in JMD Training’s Boucher Crescent premises or at a location selected by the client.
The company specialises in health and safety services and offers a range of accredited training options including CSR, NEBOSH, IOSH, EMAS and CIEH. Candidates can also complete a range of NVQs, while health and safety consultancy services are available with JMD Training’s Occupational Safety and Health Registered Consultant (HSE NI) Jim Donnelly.
JMD Training courses are also eligible for grants for companies registered with CITB NI (Construction Skills) NI.
