KDM Hire recently launched a portfolio of lifting and shifting equipment products to add to their extensive hire fleet, including a range of Mini Cranes, Glass Lifting and Cladding Lifting equipment.
This new range of products will complement an already extensive variety of lifting gear on offer.
Along with the opening of their new depot in Castlereagh Belfast and recently announced expansion plans to develop a new site in Dublin, Cookstown-based KDM Hire Ltd has developed this unique range of specialist lifting equipment as part of this depot and fleet investment. These additional products will add to their current lifting product range and will be available from depots in Belfast, Dublin and their headquarters in Cookstown, County Tyrone.
Products included are a range of Mini Spider Cranes and Pick and Carry Cranes, ideal for lifting applications where larger cranes simply cannot access. Spider Cranes can be lifted over or onto rooftops or tracked into confined areas to undertake various lifting tasks in construction works or industrial environments.
With retracted widths of only 750mm the smallest units can travel through a standard doorway or into service elevators allowing use inside buildings. Dual power (electric motor) options ensure work can be carried out cleanly indoors without any concern for fumes or emissions.
Contract lifting
A Contract Lifting service is also being offered for the first time, whereby all aspects of the lift program are undertaken by KDM. Before proceeding, all Lifts are planned in advance by qualified and appointed personnel.
Other products include Glazing Robots and Glass Vacuum Lifters for safe and efficient lifting and placement of glass panels, no matter what size or shape. A range of Cladding Lifters will also be available to the facades and cladding sectors, providing a more cost-effective and safe way of handling and placing roof or wall panels regardless of profile or length. Other products such as Mini Floor Cranes, Mobile Gantries, Modular Spreader Beams, Glass Trollies and Material Lifts will be offered to complement these latest hire products.
Portable Conveyors are now also available for hire, which KDM say are ideal for moving large quantities of rubble, soil or sand from the most awkward areas. Capable of shifting up to 60 tonnes of material per hour up steep inclines, they will take the hard work out of excavations in confined spaces or below ground.
