Speakers confirmed for CIOB annual dinner

High profile speakers will take to the stage at the CIOB annual dinner, taking place on the 27th of March

Speakers have been confirmed for the upcoming CIOB Annual Dinner in Belfast. Wilma Erskine, former Secretary Manager of Royal Portrush and driving force behind bringing The Open to Northern Ireland, as well as Chris Henry, former Ulster and Irish Rugby Union Player, will feature as part of a Q&A session with compere Adrian Logan.

The black-tie event, which will take place on Friday 27th March 2020 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Shaw’s Bridge in Belfast, is open to members and non-members of the CIOB. The Belfast Hub Annual Dinner remains the premier social networking opportunity in the Belfast construction industry calendar, with over 250 attendees enjoying an entertaining evening, fabulous food, wine and company.

For 2020, the CIOB is delighted to welcome back the popular UTV Live Sports Editor and Presenter, Adrian Logan (Logie) who will act as compere for the evening and provide some lively entertainment. This year’s venue, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, offers over 300 complimentary car parking spaces and first come, first served basis. On Saturday 6th April 2019, Philip Corr, the Vice Chair of the CIOB Hub Committees, sadly passed away. In honour of Philip, the chosen charity for this year’s Dinner is the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland. The cost to attend for an individual is £70, tables of eight cost £560 while a table of 10 costs £650. Tables of 12 cost £720 including VAT.
