Street Furniture to suit every need from ESF

Global success that has its roots in Northern Ireland projects...

Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) is known globally for a bespoke range of themed and solar powered products, which are located in some of the world’s most famous theme parks.

The Newtownabbey based company currently exports to 22 countries across five continents. However, it’s the company’s work throughout Ireland that has helped establish ESF as the global success it is today.

Specialising in the design and supply of street, themed, solar and security products, ESF has been at the forefront of the industry for many years, namely within the health, government and educational sectors throughout Ireland.

HEALTH
Counting the Royal Victoria Hospital, Craigavon and Antrim Area Hospitals, Omagh Hospital and Enniskillen Ambulance Station amongst their previous projects, ESF’s comprehensive product range, which includes cycle shelters, litter bins, seating, shelters, signage and bollards, adds a variety of traditional and contemporary styles to suit every need and location.

GOVERNMENT
More recently, ESF provided a range of products to Stormont buildings, Belfast which included bicycle shelters, benches, litter bins, planters, fencing and gates. The company also supplied a number of Victorian style lanterns with modern lighting capabilities to the majestic Hillsborough Castle, adding to the already breath-taking setting.

EDUCATION
ESF services the education sector throughout Ireland, ranging from nursery schools through to some of the most famous universities. In 2017, ESF was commissioned to supply a range of stainless steel bollards for Whitla Hall at Queen’s University in Belfast. This was followed by a later project on the East West Link, working alongside Felix O’Hare, where ESF provided a number of stainless steel curved benches, planters and litter bins. Additional projects with Queen’s University included the Estates department, Queen’s Elms student accommodation and Riddel Hall. A special project for ESF was having the opportunity to work closely with community members in Holywood, on the maritime-themed play area at Glencraig Special Needs School. ESF provided a full design and installation service for this project, which overlooks the Irish Sea, much to the delight of the children who attend the school. One of ESF’s unique selling points is the company’s ability to fully customise each design to cater for a client’s needs, whether that’s incorporating solar technology into standard street furniture, or theming street furniture to complement a company’s brand. ESF recently increased the company’s offering to new and existing clients by adding a range of maintenance and servicing packages for the entire product range. This latest addition will provide clients with the peace of mind that their product will remain in the best condition, with regular maintenance checks, throughout its lifespan.
